Čuječnost (mindfulness) za starše

Tridnevna izkustvena delavnica iz čuječnosti, posebej namenjena staršem, ki se želijo uriti v vzpostavljanju stika s seboj ter poiskati notranji mir in samospoštovanje. Kajti otrokom lahko predamo samo to, kar sami premoremo.

Zakaj sploh čuječnost?

Naša dobrobit in dobro počutje – tako fizično kot psihosocialno zdravje – sta v veliki meri odvisna od tega, v kolikšni meri znamo priti v stik s samim sabo. Ogromno lahko pridobimo, če se naučimo biti v stiku z lastno notranjostjo (in realnostjo) in če se urimo v vzpostavljanju in ohranjanju polne pozornosti ter ravnovesja.

Vse to pa seveda pomembno vpliva na kakovost odnosov, ki jih imamo z bližnjimi, še posebej pa z otroki. Otroci namreč vedno “sodelujejo”, kar pomeni, da se vedno pomenljivo odzivajo na naše resnično notranje emocionalno stanje ter na naravo (notranjih) konfliktov, ki nas zasedajo, najsi se tega zavedamo ali ne.

Če hočemo z otroki vzpostavljati in ohranjati kakovosten odnos, ki nam omogoča, da jih lahko vodimo skozi življenje, ne da bi se odrekli spoštovanju, empatiji in integriteti, potem pomaga, če vemo, kdo smo in kaj hočemo. Pomaga, če se zavedamo sebe in silnic, ki nas prevevajo, in pomaga, če znamo ostajati tukaj in zdaj, ne da bi nas posrkali vrtinci preteklih travm, bolečine in zamer.

Vsi starši si želimo, da bi se naši otroci znali uspešno spopadati z zahtevami in pritiski sodobnega sveta, za katere se zdi, da jim ni mogoče ubežati. Vsi si želimo, da bi znali poiskati v sebi oporo in zavetje, kjer bi se znali umiriti, osredotočiti nase, prepoznati svoje občutke, jih sprejeti in uspešno predelati ter zares postati svoj najboljši prijatelj. Če želimo otroke to dejansko naučiti, je to mogoče samo z zgledom. Otrokom namreč lahko predamo samo tisto, kar tudi sami premoremo.

S pomočjo čuječnosti (mindfulness) pridemo ponovno v stik s prirojenimi sposobnostmi, kakršno je uravnovešanje skozi dihanje, začnemo se zavedati svojega telesa, urimo se v empatiji in izražanju čustev. Med drugim ob tem razvijamo spontano ustvarjalnost, krepimo pa tudi zmožnost koncentracije in s tem sposobnost za vsakršno učenje, rast in razvoj.


Kaj vas čaka na seminarju

Na delavnici se sprehodimo skozi temeljne podmene življenjske drže, imenovane čuječnost. Skozi preplet teorije in praktičnih vaj med drugim spoznavamo, kaj zares pomeni “ne obsojati” ne sebe ne drugih, kakšne ovire si v življenju postavljamo iz strahu in kam vse nas to lahko vodi, se urimo v empatiji, potrpljenju in sprejemanju ter, nenazadnje, prepuščanju življenju “tukaj in zdaj”.

Udeleženci se lahko nadejajo obilo navdiha in konkretnih, praktičnih smernic, kako integrirati in uporabljati čuječnost, tako da vsakdanje življenje postane bolj prijetno in sproščeno, mi pa bolj zadovoljni in pomirjeni s sabo in svojimi otroki ter zato navsezadnje boljši zgled.

Delavnica je namenjena vsem, ki jih zanimata rast in razvoj, starševsko vodstvo in kakovost odnosov z najbližjimi in najdražjimi. Predhodno poznavanje čuječnosti za udeležence ni obvezno.

Delavnica traja od petka do nedelje. Izmenjaje si bodo sledili teoretični predavateljski vložki, individualni trening in skupinsko delo. Delavnica je izkustvene narave in zahteva aktivno sodelovanje.

O inštruktorici Smilli Lynggaard:

Smilla je danska predavateljica, voditeljica delavnic in seminarjev ter družinska svetovalka z bogatimi izkušnjami pri delu z otroki in družinami. Po osnovni pedagoški izobrazbi in tovrstnih izkušnjah v specializiranih ustanovah in zavodih je več let vodila danski Familylab, zdaj pa razvija svojo zasebno prakso. V ospredju njenega dela z ljudmi so predvsem kakovost odnosov v družini, pomen in reševanje konfliktov, moč uma in misli ter čuječnost/mindfulness.

O svoji tridnevni delavnici pravi, da je namenjena staršem, ki si želijo sami s sabo in z otroki zaživeti v miru. Pomagala se nam bo postaviti v ravnovesju, tako da bomo zadovoljstvo in odgovore, ki jih potrebujemo, odkrili v sebi in nam jih ne bo več treba iskati zunaj.

Prav zdaj je izšla njena knjiga, namenjena staršem otrok z močno voljo (t.i. avtonomnih otrok).

It was a last minute decision to go on a mindfulness workshop. I already had some experience with it and I believed it will be more about meeting new people and having a weekend away from everyday life (which I really needed), than about learning something new. But I was wrong. Our leader Smilla was very warm and gentle, but she knew how to get exactly to the point of your issue or problem, sometimes even before you knew you have it. For me these 3 days were intense in all possible ways, full of feelings and emotions, full of insights and new ideas. I came home with more inner peace and with a good idea how to keep that feeling in everyday life.

Delavnica s Smillo mi je pokazala, kako in na kakšen način lahko dejansko »živiš« ali pa vsaj »začutiš« čuječnost. Prav odmik od norega vsakdana, prakticiranja tišine, samoizpraševanja, sprehodov v naravi, podkrepljenih s teorijo, meditacijo in skupinsko dinamiko, je nekaj kar je nemogoče osvojiti preko knjig, you tubea … teorijo obvladamo vsi. Smilla  pa nam je razprla tisti del nas, kjer se vse ustavi, da se lahko šele začutiš in nato celo začneš verjeti, da lahko tudi v navadnem svetu ostaneš miren, pozoren in ljubeč.

Začutila sem mir, toploto v prsih, mehak trebuh in sproščeno sem zadihala :). Rekla sem si – v redu, sprejmem te občutke in misli, ki me morijo (in tudi vesele in sploh vse), sprejmem vse kar se je zgodilo, če se je moralo zgoditi, da sem zdaj takšna, kot sem, sprejmem to, da mogoče ne bom vedno v miru, ampak zdaj vsaj vem, kako ga najti. I am at a coffee shop waiting for my husband and daughter to arrive so we will go home together, since I don’t have a house key with me. I just came into the “real life” after the mindfulness workshop with Smilla and now I have an hour for myself before they get here. The music is quite loud. The white coffee I just ordered is being placed on a blue table in front of me while I write feedback for Familylab. The space is being illuminated by a gentle lamp buzzing in the corner and filled with subtle chatter of people in next room. I listen to the sound of a person going thru a magazine next to me while I write. The smell of an ink of my pen reminds me of a glue we used in school years back…
There is a mixture of gratefulness and excitement being build in my body. I am a bit cold like every time I am emotional. The coffee is getting cold and I am getting warmer. Everything is right where it has to be. It always has been. It always will be. Sometimes we just need a reminder.

I was extremely excited to join the workshop. Smilla opened so many questions and offered suggestions on how to address them mindfully, how to cope with fears and issues everybody has. I now know that living and being are two different things and with tools we got on the workshop, I can go through life, parenting, working much more aware of the present and now. The weekend has been a bit of an emotional marathon for me, but with a feeling of achieving inner peace at the end. To find inner peace in my line of work is a challenge and now I know how to do it, how to turn to myself for calmness and not search it in others (or other things). I will use the mindfulness concept as a mother and in my career. I am certain that with using mindfulness I will now connect with my son, my co-workers and especially myself on a whole new level. Mindful one.

Before this seminar I had never done anything “official” with mindfulness, just experimenting on my own. I wanted to know if I was doing it right, I expected maybe some new technical knowledge. And I was in for a surprise … For me it was all about other people (I mostly hadn’t known them before) – their emotions, their stories, their faces. I didn’t turn inwards, I felt I opened outwards. And it’s been a recurring theme in my life lately, after working on myself for so long. I have a feeling, it’s just a beginning, and I am thankful to everybody that opened up so much to complete strangers. It’s a privilege to be able to skip the small talk and go straight to the real stuff.
